About Karen
What makes Affordable Dance Lessons Different?
I have 21 plus years experience dancing, competing, performing, and teaching Ballroom & Social Dancing. I received my Instructor-training to teach Ballroom, Swing, Country, and Latin styles such as (Salsa, Bachata, Cha-Cha, Merengue, Cumbia, Rumba, and Bolero) in Tucson at a local studio and continue to receive instructor training regularly to stay current. I offer dance lessons to a wide student population including those with diverse backgrounds. I teach individuals who both want to learn to dance for enjoyment, as well as those who have a specific event coming up they want/need to dance at. I design custom choreography for weddings, quinceaneras, and other events. I also do professional Dance performances. My rates are very affordable, and you get a full hour. If you've checked prices at other studios for Dance Lessons, you may be asking yourself why my rates are so much more affordable? About Andrew
Tucson native and graduate of the University of Arizona. After moving to California, he competed and performed with the USC Ballroom Dance Team and received extensive training from various dance coaches and champions. He has traveled from Hawaii to New York during his dance career as an award winning competitor.Andrew is a passionate and dedicated performer who is well trained in International and American competitive dance styles as well as various social dances. His experience ranges from performing for various charities and fundraisers to teaching individuals, couples, and groups of all ages. His driving force is enhancing his students' skills in performance, expression and movement while showing them how to fun with dance. Andrew is available for private lessons and performances upon request.
About Liliana (Surprise Dance/Hip -Hop Instructor)
I have been dancing, competing, and performing hip hop for five years and I choreograph the surprise dances. I have received my training in hip hop here in Tucson. I also have experience teaching group hip hop classes. I have been working alongside Karen for five years and choreographing surprise dances for Affordable Dance Lessons. Many of the families that we have worked with for their daughters hip hop surprise dances for their quinceaneras have been very pleased and will be happy to give us a good reference.

Weddings
The Wedding dance is choreographed, and we custom design an original piece individually tailored to your special song, skill and comfort level of performing. It occurs after a couple is introduced husband & wife. Then they share their first elegant dance as a married couple to celebrate.
Quinceaneras
We provide a wide range of services to meet all of your quinceanera dance needs:
Group waltz- This is a group dance where family and friends dance the Waltz in a formation with the birthday girl. This dance requires a lot of dedication from the dancers participating.
Father Daughter dance- one of the most meaningful dances of the quinceanera. It's symbolic of the birthday girl becoming a young woman.
Surprise dance- this has become a popular type of dance where you surprise your guests with an original hiphop peace

My family hired Karen for my Quinceanera in 2014. She choreographed a great Waltz that I absolutely loved. She was a great instructor and really took her time to teach us. The price for her lessons are very reasonable. Also her schedule was very flexible. To this day I continue to take dance lessons from her. She is energetic, and make makes learning new dances enjoyable.
